My Counselling Motto
Explore new ways of THINKING to REACH new ways of ‘BEING’.
I'm a contemplative individual with boundless curiosity, dedicated to the field of psychotherapy. An entrepreneur, family-centric, and imbued with a youthful spirit, my life is a tapestry of exploration and empathy.
From a young age, I immersed myself in thoughtful reflections on human interactions, evolving into a fascination with what constitutes a wholesome 'way of life.' Post A' Levels, including psychology, and a subsequent degree in HEALTH and business, I embarked on a global journey to every continent in the world, delving into diverse cultural lifestyles.
My extensive travels in my early 20’s was complemented by my role as a physical fitness instructor, deepening my insights into our connection with ourselves and our bodies. This led to eventually establishing my own personal training studio in London which allowed me to address clients' fitness challenges in more depth. After a decade, I sensed a shift, grappling with client’s profound physical and psychological issues. The turning point came when I realised, I was beginning to counsel clients naturally while maintaining their fitness routines.
At 24, I pursued further education, attaining a diploma and later a master's in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling. This marked the beginning of my transition into being a psychotherapist. Following stints with non-profit therapy agencies, I established my own therapy practice. Later, family life became a cornerstone, as I navigated the delicate balance between personal and professional realms. Now in my early 50s, I continue to persist in questioning assumptions and probing the depths of existential thought with myself and clients.
My life's narrative continually enriches my grasp of existentialism and the myriad ways we coexist with others. Deeply invested in the well-being of our shared human experience, I am grateful to be in a profession that harmonizes seamlessly with my passion.
I look forward to exploring your therapy journey with you while offering a genuine, accepting, and empathetic therapeutic relationship.
