This ONLINE VIDEO & POWER POINT “SHRINK” program is designed to offer you a ‘reflective’ space to explore your weight loss struggles and your RELATIONSHIP with food.
It addresses those delicate topics you may be hesitating with or trying to avoid. Once DIGESTED and reflected on, you may be more equipped to change your eating style, leading to a healthier identity and a healthier weight.

General Course Description

Since the year 1900’s we have been exposed to so much material on losing weight and what “needs” to happen to achieve this. However, the key ingredient maybe be missing from the hundreds of books and articles written on weight loss. This ingredient is not a magic wand, but maybe a simple understanding of how to embrace certain Existential themes and weaving them into our relationship to food.

This course incorporates my previous 10 years of experience as a personal fitness trainer and my ongoing 20 years’ experience as an Existential psychotherapist/supervisor.

The focus involves widening our perspective on ourselves to embrace a new relationship to food.

The content is both relevant for the person who is struggling with their weight and for the person who is curious about maintaining it.

Overall, the course fulfils a unique understanding of our relationship to food and the struggle of weight loss.
