There is little written on this topic that includes SHORT summaries of the main points for supervisees starting supervision or for those who are already immersed in the process. With jargon-free language and analogies, it explains in simple terms how to ‘work with’, rather than against, your supervision journey, even when you might not realize it.
There are no secrets to the supervision process, its more about capturing how you might be involved in the development of this process. It explores how you might take responsibility to get the most out of your supervision. Once you have a clearer understanding of this, it might be a much easier and lighter process to navigate through.
Overall, the course fulfils a much-needed understanding of the supervision process through a lens designed specifically for a supervisee. It highlights how to stimulate your thoughts on how to embrace the supervisory experience more effectively. It also assists you to consider and learn about what actually tends to make the supervision more successful.
